Walk with MWRD Commissioner Precious Brady-Davis at the 97th Bud Billiken® Parade! 🥁✨
Every summer since 1929, the Bud Billiken® Parade has united Chicago in music, dance, and celebration while sounding the clarion call for back-to-school and youth empowerment.
We’re looking for passionate volunteers to march alongside Commissioner Precious Brady-Davis as we celebrate our community’s historic roots and bright future!
If you’re dedicated to investing in Chicago’s youth, education, health & wellness, and economic vitality, we’d love to have you on our parade team.
📍 Where: 39th & MLK Drive to 51st St to Washington Park
🙌 Who: Community members, families, and youth advocates

2026 Chicago Pride Parade
March with Commissioner Brady-Davis!
We are looking for volunteers to walk with us at the 2026 Chicago Pride Parade on Sunday, June 28th at 11:00am. Team Brady-Davis will line up at 10:00am. We will have a float, candy, beads and a free "Free to Be Proud" t-shirt for each volunteer!

Earth Day Clean Up
Call for Earth Day Volunteers!
The office of MWRD Commissioner Precious Brady-Davis will be hosting at Field (Eugene) Park, leading a park cleanup as part of the 2026 Citywide Earth Day Parks Clean-Up hosted by the Chicago Park District in collaboration with Friends of the Parks. We are so excited to bring neighbors together while caring for Chicago parks. The success of the Chicago Park District Earth Day clean up is in your hands! Register today!
*Upon registration, please choose ‘4/18/2026 9:00am to 12:00pm Eugene Field, 5100 N. Ridgeway Ave. - Eugene Field Fieldhouse’ when asked what clean-up to join.
All volunteers are required to sign the one day waiver. Volunteers are encouraged to fill out the volunteer waiver prior to the April 18 Earth Day
